minisome - Back in a simpler time laptops were not so powerful compared to modern standards they were much weaker than a desktop pc but still offered great and reliable work flows since software was optimized so well to fit the weak box's and give u a good experience unlike now where everything is just a bloated unoptimized mess where a simple program could take all your ram space for absolutely no reason. I personally use my vintage laptops still and i benefit from the great programs we had back then plus i think working on these machines gives u a little more focus than working on something with full acess to the internet. Based on your experiences guys what are your favorite programs to use on these old machines and what do you prefer to do them with personally (:

I used to have a Ferrari branded Windows XP laptop. It was red, of course. Some collector bought it.

Manuli:

”I still have a Macbook Pro from 2011 or so. Still in immaculate condition. Gave it Linux and an SSD and it runs faster than some cheap modern laptops, which is insane. I'm not a huge fan of Apple, but they do make good products (hardware-wise). It has 16 GB of RAM, a discrete GPU, and an Intel i7. In 2011 this must have been quite the powerhouse. ”

I've become a huge fan of this specific laptop and i really wish to get it someday. Although im not a fan of apple either you can't lie and say that their products are bad
